Braggin Party

School is out. YUK! Tuesday morning I already got calls at work. "I'm bored", "Theres nothing to do", etc. They didnt even last one whole day. Whoa, its going to be a long summer. Anyway, all three of my brilliant kids received certificates for outstanding achievements throughout the school year. Bobby's certificate was for being in the top 10% of the nation after taking the Iowa Tests.

Hope received the Outstanding Computer Tech Student Award. She also received awards for choir. They were pins.

Jazzy received the Presidentail Award for Physical Education. It was actually "signed" by President Obama. She kicks butt in PE. I cant wait until next year when they finally have school sports for her to participate in.
Am I proud, boastfull, bragging? Heck ya!

Week in Review

I love, love, love being a mom. I love the hustle and bustle and running here and there. I often wonder what people do when they dont have kids. What a boring life they must have. This is what our week entailed. (And this is in between going to kickboxing and practices and shuttling friends helter skelter, young womens, scouts, etc. The wonderful daily grind that comes with being a mom.)

Brian Regan

Friday Robb and I went to Brian Regan. He is my most favorite comic. We got our tickets in December and it was worth the five month wait. By the time it was over, I felt like I had done 500 crunches and I had no makeup left on my face. Thats what you call a stellar night.

For those of you who havent ever been to Tuachan, our outdoor amphitheater, here is a picture. Those are our magnificent red mountains in the background. I absolutely love it out there.
